I’m stuck on the couch covered in warm blankets and dogs, and planning the rest of my weekend sewing. I just heard the dryer buzz, but I’m powerless. 😜 It’ll have to wait!
Last night I sewed up a quick button cowl (Patterns for Pirates easy button cowl tutorial) and restored my faith in my sewing abilities. Not like it was hard to fit to my neck! Ha! But I did have to make the buttonholes manually because of the fuzzy fleece, so there’s that.
Not bad for a $4 project.
I picked up some black and red plaid as well as Vogue 8956 on sale at Joann’s on Friday. I’ve read the directions and it does indeed look very easy. Plus it’s a wrap and I should be able to get the right fit! I’m going to trace it this morning as soon as these pups let me up. ☺️
